Ines Sastre is a very famous and beautiful supermodel. I have read about her for many years and I got the motivation to write about her this morning because it is nice and sunny as I look outside my house right now. And Spain is known for sunny weather. But it is also known for its actresses and supermodels. Ines was born on November 21, 1973 in the city of Valladolid in Spain. She is five feet and nine inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.
Ines got a start in her career at the young age of 12 when she appeared in a fast food commercial with McDonald’s. That is an interesting way for a person to start their career by appearing in a commercial like that. In 1988, Ines appeared in her first movie called El Dorado by Carlos Saura. In the following year of 1989, Ines was awarded for the look of the year by the Elite Modeling Agency. She was offered to continue her modeling career but she chose to dedicate her time to studying instead. That is a very smart decision in my opinion.
She studied at the famous Sorbonne in Paris. In addition to her Spanish language skills, Ines also speaks French, English and Italian fluently. In 1996, she replaced Isabella Rossellini as the spokesperson for Lancome for its perfume called Tresor. She also worked with UNESCO and participated in many fashion design shows and appeared in many ads. In the year 2000, Sastre achieved enormous popularity in Italy with Fabio Fazio during the Festival Di SanRemo as a presenter. That is an Italian music festival. Ines Sastre is now an ambassador for the organization UNICEF.
She enjoys playing golf and she has participated in the Gary Player Invitational charity pro-am in South Africa many times in order to raise money to assist needy children. That really makes me happy when a celebrity takes the time and effort to help others in society who really needs that help. That sets a great example for others to follow. She married Alexandro Corrias in 2006 and they had a son Diego. They divorced a little over a year later. Sastre has appeared in the cover of many international magazines such as Marie Claire, Elle, Vogue, Rolling Stone, GQ and Cosmopolitan.
